Shifa Clinic
With ur duaa and ur kind donations Sitpon Gujarat Welfare trust be able to buy Three brand new beds and An Examination desk for our Shifa Clinic.09/12/2018 - Decorating Shifa Clinic Building work carried out.
Education Programs
SGWT aims to provide help for all areas of education. We are continuing to provide scholarships for further education including uniform, equipment, fees and books.Four new toilets were built for the girl's primary school and a water cooler machine was provided so that the children could drink cold water.
A new roof made of specially coated corrugated iron sheets was made for the boy's primary school to replace the old roof as it was leaking.
We also help families with all costs related to education including: Books, Uniform, School Fees, Bus Pass and Higher Education Costs.
Clean Water Filter Plant
We have maintained the water filtration plant which has become self-sufficient and provides cool drinkable water for people.The footpath near the water cooler machine in the Pader has also been been repaired up to the boarding building.
Laundry House
The Sitpon laundry house was completed and inaugurated by Haji Aziz Dudhiya on the 7th March 2016 in the presence of Jilla collector and a local MP.Qurbaani Support
2015: We also had a qurbani project where we carried out six qurbanis and the meat was distributed throughout the whole village. We hope that this year you participate in this project again.2016: In 2016, we held a qurbani project. We carried out 3 qurbanis and distributed them accross the villages.
Iftaar Support
In the month of Ramadhan some donors from England sponsored poor families in the village with fruit for iftaar and we distributed Sadaqah-e-fitr two days before Eid-ul-fitr to 251 families from Sitpon and the surrounding villages so that they could participate in the celebrations with everyone else.Widow Benifit Sceme
35 widows have been given Rs 2000 per month through the widow benefit scheme.Flood Support
In 2013 there was a flood in the village where the whole area was surrounded with water for atleast 7 days.Our team worked hard to move the most effected family to a safer place. We also provided the food and clean water.
After the flood had cleared we supported more than 100 families with cash to redecorate and repair their houses.
One widows house was completely demolished so we rebuilt the house for her.
Wedding Support
We provide help for all wedding plans.The wedding support scheme has also been improved; the amount now given out was Rs 20 000.
Sitpon Entrance Gate
We are in the process of building a welcome gate for the village which is near completion.Primary School Water Machine
SGWT has provided a water cooler machine for the local girls primary school for the children can have cold water at all times.Smoker Machine
Sitpon Gujarat Welfare Trust has the pleasure to announce the purchase of a "Smoker machine". This machine will help make our village mosquito free.The machine requires Diesel and mosquito killing liquid which is released as a gas/smoke and will remove/kill mosquitos for fifteen days.
The machine will be used twice a month which will not allow mosquitos to breed or survive in this environment.
Mosquito bites are the primary source in contracting malaria and other diseases.
Ghusalkhana And Maternity Unit - 3 Houses for Poor Families
Alhamdulillah With your support and duas, we are soon to be completing the building of our current projects in Sitpon, which consists of: 3 houses for poor families and Ghusalkhana/Maternity unit.We appreciate your generous donations, and would like to continue to build more houses in the future. Camps:
Caterax
The caterax was organised by Sitpon Gujarat Welfare Trust. An eye specialist attended to diagnose patients and prescribe a course of treatment. Alhumdulillah 270 patients were diagnosed.A list of recommended treatment with costs will be provided soon. The cost of a cataract operation is £65 per eye. If you wish to contribute towards any treatment costs please contact the sgwtrust representatives.
Blood Test
This test to check sugar colestrol uric acid and hamoglobin level in blood and blood group check. Alhumdulillah more than 400 people has gave their blood samples in three days time we will get results. After receiving results our phisycian will assess and priscribe treatment if required.Distributions/Others:
Sports Kits
02/12/16 we have distributed sports kits to the cricket TeamsCloths
Dear Brothers and Sisters alhamdulillah the clothes you have donated are reached in sitpon and very soon they will be distributed to the needy peoples of our village.Jazakallah for that may allah reward you all here and here after for your kind information we are still collecting clothes so if you still have some unwanted clothes to give away please call us inshaallah will be very happy to come to you and collect them.
Tailoring Class
February 2017 - Qualification cirtificate has been distributed to girls who finished tailoring class run by SGWtrust and sarvjanik yuvak mandal sitpon and funded by Honourable Dassu family (ARC Fabrics leicester) may Allah reward Dassu family and there marhumeen here ans here after.Painting Water Tank
April 2017 - In 2017 general meeting brothers have sujjested regarding painting of water tanks in our village.
